Customer Care Service Terms

These terms explain Lyfrr™’s care-coordination role, customer responsibilities and the conditions applying to caretaker enquiries and placements.

Please read before confirming service. A booking is confirmed only after the assigned care partner, scope, shift, charges, verification status and start details are communicated and accepted.

1. Lyfrr™’s role

Lyfrr™ facilitates and coordinates enquiries for home-care support and may introduce or assign independent care partners or third-party personnel according to the agreed arrangement. The exact contracting and payment structure for each placement will be stated in the service confirmation. Describing a person as a partner does not reduce any responsibility imposed by applicable law.

2. Service confirmation

Before duty begins, the customer should receive a written confirmation recording the patient’s non-clinical support needs, location, shift, start date, charges, payment recipient, assigned person, completed verification status and important exclusions.

3. Scope

Caretaker services are non-clinical unless a suitably qualified healthcare professional is separately engaged. The customer must not request prohibited clinical work. The detailed permitted and prohibited activities appear in the Caretaker Scope & Limitations page.

4. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about mobility, fall, behavioural, infection and home-environment risks.
  • Provide medical instructions only from an authorised healthcare professional.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful and harassment-free workplace.
  • Secure cash, jewellery, credentials and important documents.
  • Provide necessary consumables, prescriptions, emergency contacts and equipment.
  • Report any incident or concern promptly.

5. Screening and allocation

Screening measures and their status may differ by role and available records. Lyfrr™ will not describe a person as police verified, certified or clinically qualified unless supporting information has been obtained. Customers should review the disclosed status before confirmation.

6. Attendance and replacement

Illness, emergencies, transport disruption or discontinuation may affect attendance. Lyfrr™ will accept and reasonably coordinate replacement requests, but does not guarantee an immediate or identical replacement. Safety concerns may result in immediate suspension while information is reviewed.

7. Charges and payments

Charges, overtime, holidays, travel, coordination fees and payment arrangements must be confirmed in writing. Customers should obtain an official acknowledgement for payments and should not make unrecorded loans or advances to a care partner.

8. Complaints and incidents

Urgent safety concerns should be reported to +91 91673 60392 and Lyfrrhealthcare@gmail.com. Emergencies must be directed to 112, an ambulance or the nearest hospital. Lyfrr™ may preserve records, suspend deployment and cooperate with insurers, police or authorities as appropriate.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability will be assessed according to the facts, the agreed role, applicable law and any proven act or omission. Lyfrr™ is not responsible for inaccurate information concealed by a customer or for unauthorised duties privately arranged outside the written service confirmation, subject always to applicable law.

10. Ending service and disputes

Either party may discontinue service according to the confirmed notice and cancellation terms. Immediate suspension may occur for violence, harassment, intoxication, theft, unsafe instructions, non-payment or serious breach. These terms are governed by Indian law; appropriate courts in Maharashtra will have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
